I See You Best

I See You Best Terms of Service

Effective: [EFFECTIVE DATE]. Published by [COMPANY]. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].

These terms are a contract between you and [COMPANY] for the use of the I See You Best app. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. We verify age at sign-up and close accounts that do not meet it. You need a sign-in from Apple or from Google and, for shared features, a partner who creates their own account and pairs with you by invitation. One account per person; your account is yours and not transferable.

2. What the app is (and is not)

I See You Best offers relationship rituals: daily questions, games, appreciation notes, date planning with an AI assistant, and optional modules the two of you can choose to open. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical care, and it is not a crisis service. The AI assistant ("Ivy") is software, not a person and not a professional. If you or someone you know is in crisis or in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis line; the app shows these resources when its safety systems detect you may need them.

3. AI features

Some content in the app is generated by artificial intelligence and can be wrong, incomplete, or a poor fit for your situation. Venue suggestions come from third-party data and change without notice (hours, closures, prices); check before you go. You are responsible for your own decisions.

4. Subscriptions and billing

5. Your content

What you and your partner write is yours. You give us the limited license needed to operate the service: to store it, encrypt it, show it to the intended person under the app's reveal rules, process it with our AI providers to deliver the features, and include it in your export or deletion. We do not use your content for advertising and we do not sell it. Some rules of the road: only post content you have the right to share, and nothing illegal.

6. Respecting the design (acceptable use)

You agree not to: use the app to harass, monitor, or control another person; attempt to access your partner's private content or anyone else's account; probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; automate access without permission; or misrepresent your age. The app's privacy boundaries between partners are a core feature; attempting to defeat them is grounds for termination.

7. Pairing, unpairing, deletion

Either partner can unpair at any time, alone. Either person can delete their account at any time, alone; deletion is immediate on our live systems and does not require your partner's consent. Shared content follows the rules shown in the app at unpair/deletion time.

8. Modules that can change

Some features (including the optional intimacy module) may be enabled, changed, or withdrawn, including for safety reasons. We will not delete your own saved content when a module is turned off, except as part of your own deletion choices.

9. Updates to the app

The app may download updated app code from our update service when it starts, so that fixes reach you without waiting for a new store version. Updates never change the privacy promises above; a change that would needs a new policy and your consent. You can always get the current version of the app from the App Store or from Google Play.

10. Termination

You can stop using the app any time; deleting your account ends these terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, break the law, or endanger others, and will state the reason when we lawfully can.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [COMPANY]'s total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where that is the case, they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

13. Disputes

Governing law: [JURISDICTION]. Venue: [JURISDICTION]. [DISPUTE RESOLUTION]

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be shown in the app before they take effect, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. The current version always lives at https://iseeyou.best/terms.
