I See You Best Support
We are a small team and we read everything. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL] and you will hear back within two working days.
Things you can do yourself, right now
- Delete your account. You, then Settings, then Delete account. It is immediate on our live systems and does not need your partner.
- Unpair. You, then Settings, then Unpair. It closes the shared space for both of you at once. Your private journal stays yours.
- Sign out everywhere. Settings, then Sign out everywhere: every phone signed in to the account is signed out at once, the one in your hand included. Sign out alone signs out that phone only.
- If you can no longer open the app (a lost phone, an account you cannot sign in to), email [CONTACT EMAIL] from any address. Tell us which sign-in the account uses (Apple or Google) and the address on the account: the one you signed in with, or, if you chose Apple's Hide My Email, the relay address shown under your Apple ID's Sign in with Apple settings. We send a one-time confirmation to that address and delete the account once your reply comes back from there, within two working days. We never act on a sender address alone, because anyone can type one. An account whose address no longer reaches you can be deleted only from inside the app, after signing in on any phone. Google Play and the App Store both require this route to exist, and we would offer it anyway.
- Manage your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple on an iPhone and by Google Play on an Android phone. On an iPhone, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops the next renewal; a free trial that is cancelled before it ends is never charged.
- Refunds. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you ask us first, we will point you there and, where we can, help from our side. Our stance is simple: reasonable requests get a yes.
- Export your data. You, then Settings, then Export my data. The phone's share sheet lets you save the file or send it to yourself. It contains your own content and the shared content you can see in the app, never your partner's private content.
What we cannot do
- We cannot show you your partner's private content: their journal, their conversations with Ivy, their unrevealed answers, their non-mutual intimacy answers. There is no admin override for this and there never will be.
- We cannot tell you whether your partner has done something in the app beyond what the app already shows you.
- We cannot give therapy, counselling or medical advice. Ivy is an AI companion for connection and fun, not a professional.
If you are in danger or in crisis
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States).
- 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline: call or text 988 (United States).
- National Domestic Violence Hotline: call 1-800-799-7233, text START to 88788, or visit thehotline.org (United States).
The app shows these resources inside Ivy whenever its safety systems detect you may need them.
Reporting a problem
Tell us what you expected, what happened, and roughly when. Please do not paste private conversations into an email; we never need them to help.
